Illustrator and artist Mary Woodin has a great eye for detail and excels when painting natural subjects. Her beautiful watercolours have been commissioned for a wide range of international projects including packaging, book and magazine publishing, advertising and stationery. Recent clients include Waitrose, Tesco, Running Press, BBDO, Grand Central Publishing, Country Living Magazine.
Mary studied at the Royal College of Art in London and immediately after graduation was commissioned to produce ceramic tile murals for South Kensington Underground Station. This was followed by tableware designs for Wedgwood and ever increasing projects for international clients.
A move to the country provided the inspiration for her latest book "The Painted Garden Cookbook" (Running Press); a collection of illustrated recipes using the produce from her own garden.
If Mary's not in her studio she's probably weeding carrots, talking to a chicken or conjuring up something delicious in the kitchen. Check out her gorgeous BLOG for a glimpse of life in rural Suffolk.
